Helping Hands Childcare has been running for over 20 years, with experienced childminders .With positive and rewarding feedback from local schools and parents, we are extremely proud of our family run business.

We thrive on giving first class childcare, and welcoming them from your home to ours. We treat every child as an individual. Children should be children and be enabled to develop at their own pace. This will help them become more confident, caring people in there own right.

A Helping Hand provides a variety of fun activities from early years up to 11 year olds and offers a program of education for children based on our highly regarded method. We strive to continually create a fun, loving and exciting environment where children will enjoy learning, playing and caring for others.

We also feel it's important to promote responsibility, respect and independence, curiosity and confidence for each individual.

Our language program is filled with games that satisfy childrens fascination with sounds, words and expressions. These games provide the foundation of phonics and reading. Each child in our setting works/ learns and develops at their own pace and according to his/ her own development stage in a non-competitive atmosphere. Children of varying ages work and play together, stimulating both academic and social growth. At Helping Hands we recognise the potential of each child through a prepared and structured environment.

Each child works towards the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage). Through observations the next stages of development are planned in guidance with the EYFS, and these folders are available for parents to look through anytime.
